Verndale Supports Construction Project for FINE
May 19, 2023
Since Verndale opened its doors in 1998, leadership has been passionate about doing right by its clients, team members, and communities. The Verndale Impact Program was formed several years ago as a charitable framework focusing on supporting philanthropic causes, adopting pro-bono accounts, and enabling employee volunteer efforts to impact the communities in which we live and work. Each year, the Verndale Impact Program team organizes events, sets up donations, and collaborates with organizations, foundations, and companies that align with our core values.
Verndale's most recent donation supports the Foundation for the Integration of Special Children (FINE), a non-profit organization founded in 1992 in Quito, Ecuador. The organization focuses on furthering the development and well-being of people with disabilities by implementing centers to support community integration and improve their quality of life. FINE enables its members to develop skills through art workshops, exercising, playing music, farming, cooking, and more.
With support from Verndale's Ecuador employees and Verndale's matched donation, the company helped fund FINE's project to build storage space for class and workshop supplies. The new construction gives the teachers and administrators a place to organize materials and equipment and opens up more space for activities and classes.
Supporting non-profits in the communities in which we work is foundational to the Verndale Impact Program. By funding FINE, Verndale helped optimize their classroom space so administrators can optimize the time spent with their members.
